The Aftershock x Cathedral Lodge 2024
Friday February 16 marked our second annual Golf Day at the spectacular Cathedral Lodge.
Twenty-two golfers joined us for a picture perfect day on the green. With proceeds going directly towards research programs for high-mortality rate cancers, golfers spent the day at one of Australia’s most prestigious courses playing for a great cause.
On arrival, golfers were greeted with lockers full of Royal Caddie gear and gifts from our friends at Lovabowl and Inglewood Coffee, personalised golf carts and a delicious brekkie (including Cathedral Lodge’s famous egg and bacon rolls!).
After a little practice, and a briefing from Cathedral Lodge’s Club Pro, everyone started to make their way around the course. Because everyone loves a little competition, we also ran a few friendly competitions to win Pro Shop vouchers including Stableford winner, closest to the pin and longest drive.
After a mid-way pitstop with a gourmet BBQ lunch, the day concluded with sunset drinks and a three-course dinner.
Days like these wouldn’t be possible without the generosity of our partners. We can’t thank Cathedral Lodge enough for continuing to host this very special day and our photographer Kim Landy for helping capture these memories. We’d also love to extend a huge thank you to our friends at Royal Caddie, Lovabowl and Inglewood Coffee who filled each golfer’s locker with plenty of goodies to take home.
